Jake Alfieri

Jake Alfieri is a sculptor who currently resides in the Bronx, NY. Jake has extensive experience in events logistics, and curatorial work having founded the Fountain Head (formerly the Fountainhead Gallery) in 2007, spearheading multiple group and solo exhibitions. Jake has exceptional technical skills with over 30 years’ experience and has fruitfully collaborated with JULIETTE SOLUTIONS Founder, Juliette Pelletier, for over a decade.

Welding

Maintenance and repairs on heavy steel equipment including, but not limited to dump trucks, excavators, cement mixers, front end, loaders, loader buckets, and others; inner shield, oxyacetylene burning, hard surfacing, grinding, plasma and torch cutting apart from other general fabrication techniques. All types of grinding and polishing of various metals.

 

1991-2001

Downtime, Night Club and Live Music Venue. 30th St. Manhattan, New York

General Manager

Coordinated, booked and supervised all events and staff required to fill three floors with the capacity of 3000 people 7 days a week. Managed a team of bartenders, waitresses, caterers, promoters, DJs, sound engineers, lighting designers, security staff and all the maintenance support staff.

 

1989-1991

Paulette Fashions. Weehawken, NJ

Production Manager & Art Director

Assisted in the design and start-up of a multicolor silkscreen print shop and art department for the production of finished and pieced garments for fashion. Ran multicolored silkscreen machines. Managed a team of artists and support staff in high volume printing. Including production, scheduling, color separations, construction of screens, preparing and color matching inks and all sample making.

 

1986-1989

Glasgow International. Perth Amboy, NY

Production Manager / Art Director

Developed a production silkscreen facility capable of printing multicolored designs for fashion and licensed garments (NBA, MLB, NFL, NHL Ralph Lauren, Polo). Designed and supervised a full capacity Art Department, leading a group of over 20 artists and production staff in color separations, camera reproduction and everything necessary to prepare art work, screens, and inks required to run a high-volume production of printed piece goods.
