Born in Valencia, Venezuela, Natalie Giugni has resided in the Americas, Italy, Brazil and Japan. She began formal art studies in painting at the age of ten. An early series of pastel renderings created during a year in Brazil, depicting scenes of one of the Seven Wonders of the World (the Falls du Iguacú), earned Natalie a full scholarship to Manhattan's School of Visual Arts, from where she graduated. Diverse international cultural experiences continue to influence the narrative in her painting and sculpture.
